DRAMA CLUB SR. | Ages 12–18

A great opportunity for teens to build confidence, creativity, performance skills, and friendships while being part of a fun, supportive group.

4-DAY ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Our four-day program uses the Mighty Roots Academy Approach to combine strong academics with hands-on, engaging learning.

Mornings: Math, Language Arts & cross-curricular unit studies
Afternoons: Students choose from MRA courses such as Drama Club, Social Emotional Learning, Illustrators & Authors, Spanish, Studio Art, National Parks, Circuits & more!

Monday–Thursday | 34 weeks
$600 Enrollment Fee WAIVED!

I miss the sounds of Mighty Roots.

I miss kids climbing trees, science experiments outside, the sound of a guitar drifting through our woods, and the laughter of friends.

I miss frisbee dodgeball.

I miss curious questions, muddy hands, high-fives after a challenge, and watching confidence in our students grow.

Thankfully... we won't have to miss it for much longer.
A new year is almost here, and we can't wait to fill these spaces with adventure again!

As we prepare for another exciting year at Mighty Roots Academy, we're looking for donations of iPads for student classroom use. If you have a new or gently used device in good working condition (preferably 3 years old or newer) that you're no longer using, we'd love to give it a new life in our classrooms!

These iPads will help our students explore robotics and stop motion animation as well as digital media, research, and other hands-on learning experiences. If you're interested in donating, please contact us, we'd be incredibly grateful for your support!

• Shelves full of organized supplies
• A complete curriculum that's ready to open and teach (or personalize if inspiration strikes!)
Now we just need the right person to bring it to life!

You do NOT need to be a certified art teacher. You don't even need to have taught art before.

If you enjoy working with children, love encouraging creativity, and are willing to learn alongside your students, we'd love to talk with you! Our Learning Guides don't need to have all the answers, they simply create an environment where curiosity and creativity can grow.

Evening Cleaning Position

Mighty Roots Academy is hiring an Evening Cleaning Team Member for the upcoming school year!

Position Details:
• Monday–Thursday
• 3 hours per day (12 hours/week)
• Start anytime after 4:00 PM
• $18/hour

This position is perfect for someone who:
✔ Enjoys working independently
✔ Is dependable and self-motivated
✔ Likes checking tasks off a list
✔ Takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces

Whether you're a hardworking high school student (14+), college student, retiree, or simply looking for extra income, we'd love to hear from you!

This position follows the Mighty Roots Academy school-year calendar, with occasional opportunities for additional deep-cleaning hours.

NEW FOR 2026-2027: FOUR-DAY ACADEMIC PROGRAM
(Grades 2-6)

We're excited to announce a brand-new pilot program at Mighty Roots Academy!

Many homeschool families are looking for a balance between independent homeschooling and a full-time school experience. Our new Four-Day Academic Program is designed to provide exactly that.

Students will attend Monday-Thursday. Mornings will focus on core academics, building strong foundations in Language Arts, Math, and Unit Studies while still enjoying the electives and hands-on learning experiences that make Mighty Roots special.

This week, we celebrated the graduation of four seniors here at Mighty Roots Academy!

Isaiah and Josh have been with us since the very beginning, part of our very first group of Mighty Roots students when we opened in 2019. They have grown alongside our community every step of the way.

Daniel joined us during the first year of Creative Options in 2020 and has been a steady part of our Wednesdays ever since.

Maylee joined our Wednesday Creative Options program in 2023 and quickly became an important part of our Mighty Roots community.

It’s bittersweet to watch them move on. They will be deeply missed, but we are so excited to see where life takes them next. They may be leaving our classrooms, but they will always be part of the Mighty Roots family. Our roots just continue to stretch farther, reaching out into the world through each of them!

Join us tomorrow, Saturday May 9th, for a magical performance of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz presented by our talented 6–12 age theater class.

Our students have worked so hard to bring this beloved story to life, and we would love for you to come support their incredible performances!

While you’re here, stop by our Art Show. This is a beautiful celebration of student creativity from across our programs! Come explore the amazing artwork and projects our students have created throughout the year.

Our Book Fair will also be open during Art Show hours! Tomorrow is the last day.

Morning show parking will be at Mighty Roots.

Parking for our evening show will be available at Iglesia Esperanza next door. From there, follow the sidewalk and signs through our newly mulched entrance path to our property.
