Derek Joiner wins back to back state championships in shot put!

We are pleased to announce Dwayne Darden will be joining Grandview High School as the new head football Coach. Darden graduated from Thomas J. Corcoran High School in Syracuse, NY in 2006, where he excelled as an all-conference linebacker and achieved Second Team All-State honors. He went on to play college football at Delaware State University from 2006 to 2007 before embarking on a professional career in arena football, notably with the Syracuse Bombers and Syracuse Soldiers. Darden continued his football journey with semi-pro teams such as the Kansas City Bulldogs and Kansas City Panthers from 2013 to 2018.

In 2016, he began coaching in the South Suburban Football League for the Chiefs, eventually becoming the head coach at Grandview Middle School from 2022 to 2024, leading the team to an undefeated season and securing the school's first championship in history. He’s also contributed as a volunteer assistant offensive line coach at the high school level and as a throws coach for track and field, producing six individual state champions in shot put and discus events, including a school record holder.

Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on becoming the Super Bowl LVIII Champions!

On Wednesday, February 14, the City of Kansas City and its community will celebrate the championship with the Chiefs parade. Therefore there will be no school on that day in the Grandview C-4 School District. The district office will remain open for regular business hours.

Come get a jump start on the school year tonight, and make sure you and your student are ready to hit the ground running on August 21st!

As we gear up for the upcoming school year, we understand that online enrollment and registration can be overwhelming for some families. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free enrollment experience for all, we are delighted to invite you to come in for assistance with the Online Enrollment process.
Our Online Enrollment and Registration team members will be available to assist you starting August 1st from 9 AM to 1 PM at Grandview High School.
During this session, our dedicated staff members will be available to guide you through the online enrollment process step-by-step. Whether you're a tech-savvy parent or not, our team will be there to answer any questions and provide hands-on assistance.
To ensure we maximize your time when you come, please call 816-316-5800 to schedule an appointment.
Also, if your student rides the bus to school, you must complete online enrollment by August 4th to be ensured transportation on the first day of school.

Incoming Seniors must have received your Meningococcal MCV4 before they can enroll this shot would have been given after the 16th Birthday. This shot can be given at any Health Department, Doctor's Office, or Pharmacy.
