There will be no school during Winter Break, which runs from December 23 through January 3. Additionally, there will be no school on January 6 and 7 due to a Teacher Work Day and a Professional Development Day.
Classes will resume for all GC-4 students on Wednesday, January 8.

We were honored to have National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, Meg Medina, at Grandview Middle School!
Meg Medina shared her wonderful books and introduced her inspiring initiative, ‘Cuéntame!: Let’s Talk Books’. Our students were captivated by her storytelling and left inspired to dive deeper into the world of literature.

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: FunFright Trick-or-Treating Walkthrough (perfect for younger attendees)
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: FullFright (a more intense experience)

Congratulations to Conn-West Elementary fourth grader, Zion Taylor! Zion won the Grandview Fire Department’s poster contest highlighting fire safety awareness. This morning he rode to school in a bright red firetruck courtesy GVFD.

That’s part of a handwritten note Janiyha wrote to her principal, Mrs. Quinci Dacus, at Grandview Middle School, in honor of National Principal’s Month. Janiyha is in sixth grade.
