What a great way to wrap up an incredible week at the Texas FFA State Convention! 💙💛

Yesterday was filled with inspiring sessions, planning for the upcoming school year, and making unforgettable memories at the Texas Nights Neon Lights FFA Fun Night.

Today, we attended the final general session, listened to inspiring retiring addresses, celebrated as Area VI State Vice President Tucker Smith was announced as a National FFA Officer candidate, watched the 2026–2027 Texas FFA State Officer Team be inducted, and witnessed the retiring state officer team proudly retire the blue jackets.

Thank you, Texas FFA, for an amazing convention and an unforgettable week. We’re heading home inspired, motivated, and excited for the year ahead. We can't wait to continue growing as leaders, serving our community, making lasting memories, and living to serve through FFA. 💙💛

💙💛Texas FFA State Convention – Day 3💛💙

Yesterday, our members kicked off the day by attending the Texas FFA Business Session, where they voted on amendments and policies that will help shape the future of Texas FFA.

We also had the opportunity to hear Area VI State Vice President Tucker Smith deliver his powerful retiring address, reflecting on a year of service and encouraging members to continue leading with purpose. We then cheered on Gunner Rodgers from Mt. Pleasant, our Area VI State Officer Candidate, as he delivered his speech in his campaign for Texas FFA State President.

During the First General Session, members heard from Courtenay DeHoff, a nationally recognized agricultural advocate, TV host, and speaker. She challenged everyone to be courageous, embrace every opportunity, and confidently share their stories.

We're looking forward to another exciting day today!

💙💛Texas FFA State Convention – Day 2💙💛

Today was filled with learning and fun! Our students spent the day attending leadership workshops, gaining valuable skills and experiences to help them grow as leaders.

After the workshops, we headed to the Fort Worth Stockyards, where everyone enjoyed exploring one of Texas' most iconic destinations.

To wrap up the day, some of our group attended the Aaron Watson concert, while others enjoyed strolling through Sundance Square and taking in the sights of downtown Fort Worth.

Another great day at the Texas FFA State Convention, making memories, building leadership skills, and enjoying all that Fort Worth has to offer!

Grand Saline FFA members left this morning to head to the Texas FFA State Convention.

Today we had a great time exploring Sea Life Aquarium and seeing all the incredible marine life. Then we enjoyed a fun lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, where the atmosphere was just as exciting as the food!

Looking forward to everything the rest of the convention has in store! 💛 💙

This past Friday, 7 of our FFA members attended the Mineola District Leadership Camp. Students were able to attend workshops, build their leadership skills, and engage with other FFA members in our district. Our students also had the opportunity to compete in an opening ceremony contest where they placed 1st in their room advancing to finals. In finals, Bryson received the Dream Team Vice President.

What an incredible few days at the State FFA Speaking Development Event at Tarleton! We are proud to recognize Bryson Richey for his exceptional performance, dedication, and hard work throughout the competition.

Competing at the state level is an achievement in itself, and earning a place among the finalists in two events reflects Bryson’s commitment, preparation, and talent. Today’s performance earned him 3rd Place in Junior Prepared Public Speaking and 9th Place in Soil Stewardship Public Speaking.

Congratulations, Bryson, on an outstanding state contest! We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and the dedication you have shown throughout the year.

Congratulations to Bryson on advancing to the finals in both of his speaking events! He will compete again tomorrow to determine his final placing among the Top 12 speakers in Texas. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishment and wish him the best of luck!

Tomorrow is a big day as Bryson Richey takes the stage to represent our chapter at the State FFA Speaking Contest!

Throughout this year he has dedicated countless hours to researching, writing, practicing, and perfecting his speech. His hard work, determination, and passion has earned him this incredible opportunity.

Please join us in wishing Bryson the best of luck tomorrow as he competes against some of the top speakers in the state. We are proud to have you represent our chapter and community!
