Storytime in the Park- Garfield

Besides Tuesday's being reading night in Grand Rapids, it's also occasionally TOY night!🧩🧸Tonight at Both Storytime Grand Rapids in Lincoln Park and here in Garfield Park, curtsy of Storehouse of Community Resources in partnership with the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation and GOOD 360.

Get out those old halloween costumes, or wear your favorite character/hero gear because week 4 of Storytime in the Park -Garfield is Characters & Hero's night!! 🦸‍♀️🎉📖 Come read and eat ice cream with us at Garfield Park this Tuesday, June 23rd for an evening full of excitement.

We suggest brining along a pencil/pen/crayon to write with as we won't have extras for our fill-in-the-blank scavenger hunt.

Due to a severe weather alert being issued in the area Storytime in the Park Garfield has been CANCELLED tonight. We hope to see you all next week 6/23!

Week 3 is Nature and Community Night at Garfield Park! 🌿🤝Join us on Tuesday, June 16th from 6:30-8:00pm for a fun filled evening! Check out our activities along free books, ice cream, and a guest reader. Can't wait to see everyone there! 😁

Matilda our Storytime car has had a rough start to the summer- being towed twice! 😵‍💫 Our Storytime hero, Mr. Towner, jumped right in and fixed her so that she will hopefully be repaired for the rest of the summer. If you see Mr. Towner walking around Storytime, be sure to give him a hearty thank you!

Another amazing night of Storytime in the Park!! Thank you all who joined in on the fun with us. We played field games, learned to unicycle, read together, played drums, and got free books and ice cream. It was truly an unforgettable evening! 😄
