The jiggles are real 😂 I cracked up when I heard this narration! But I have to say, going back to school after summer break comes with so many mixed emotions. Teaching has been the experience in which I’ve felt the most in need of God. Every year, I’m reminded that I can’t do this in my own strength, I need His wisdom, patience, grace, and guidance every step of the way. ❤️🙏🏽

People ask me all the time what I saw in Kyle. Honestly? It was the way he handles the pressure.
Watching him fix things around the house without losing his cool reminds me of why I fell for him in the first place. Early adulthood is loud and everything feels urgent. Finding someone who carries peace instead of panic changes everything. When the world is spinning and your mind is racing with a hundred different worries, having a partner who is steady is a quiet anchor. True strength is not loud. It is the steady hands that just roll up their sleeves and get to work.
What is one quality you look for most in a partner when life gets overwhelming?

The classroom looks a little different today.
If we give our kids a worksheet on fractions or geometry, they might memorize it for Friday’s test and forget it by next week. But hand them a hammer, let them help pull up plywood, and show them how a room comes back together from the studs up? They will remember that forever.
That is what I love most about teaching them here. They aren’t stressed about fitting into a mold or worrying if they are smart enough. They are just learning how life works, side by side with the people who love them most.
