Isaiah Denhof ’26 had a clear path ahead of him as a mechanic, with a stable career already in progress. But everything began to shift after a transformational week serving at a Vacation Bible School, an opportunity encouraged by his pastor. During that time, Isaiah began to see his future differently. Working with the kids stirred a deeper sense of calling, leading him to realize, “This is what I want to do for the rest of my life.”
During his time at Grace as he prepared for his future in ministry, Isaiah rooted his faith in a life-changing truth: when Christ is at the center, everything else falls into place. As he puts it, “It’s about salvation—knowing Jesus as your Savior. Everything else flows from that.”

Big moment for Stacy Delgado this past semester at the MWEST Challenge. She pitched her First Gen Success App, designed to support first-generation college students with resources, mentorship, and opportunities, and earned $2,250 toward her venture. Inspired by her own experience, she put it best: “I’m building what I needed in college,” with the goal of helping first-generation students navigate college with confidence and access opportunities that impact their future.
