Brian Gall is a KCTC Alumni. When he was one of our students, his dream was to become an electrician, like his brother. He completed the Industrial Electricity program at KCTC in 1983 and has been working as an electrician in a wide variety of roles, including owning his own business, ever since.
He strongly believes in mentoring the next generation of electricians and is doing so as the Electrical program instructor at West Michigan Construction Institute, a Kent ISD CTE program for students seeking electrical or construction skills and certifications.
If you have ever attended a program at Kent Career Tech Center, even when it was called "Kent Skills Center" or the "College Ave. Skills Center", you are invited to join the KCTC Alumni Network!

Our Graphic Communications instructor Mrs. Dykema was recognized as Teacher of the Month by Biggby Coffee and featured in Maranda on WOOD TV8!
She received $500 from Biggby that she can use however she’d like in the classroom. Students said she is their favorite person and is always willing to help them.

Students in our Auto Tech program who completed paid internships with Fox Motors were recognized last week by the company’s Human Resources team and Service Managers.
Congratulations to all students including the seven who were offered jobs!
