Been receiving a lot of inquiries:

Danish company flying a Canadian registered helicopter, working on a US Government contract, researching ground water levels.

That’s the story….none of it has been verified…your mileage may vary.

Around GPZ for a few day.

Join us in congratulating Mike M. on his first solo today! We appreciate that he came to Airways for his training.

As we get ready to work through the heat this week, it’s unimaginable to think we could possibly have more “Grand events” than this past few weeks.

1. She said YES!

First we had a gentleman arrange for a scenic flight. Prior to departure he “popped the question”, after a bunch of happiness and tears of joy, they took a scenic flight over Grand Rapids and were met back at the airport for more tears of love and happiness with family. Instructor Michael was more nervous than the gent proposing!

2/3. Airways customer and friend Beau P. got his floatplane rating. Plane is now based at his house and big smiles all around the family!

4/5. New hires- Line Supervisor Gary is business training Kaleb L. Please join us in welcoming Kaleb to our Line Service team. It is rumored that by day he works for Foreflight and will be available to us on nights and weekends as a “rover”.
—Apprentice young Master Jack came through for a little O.J.T.

6. And finally, Congratulations to Jordan W. as he successfully completed his first solo and is seen here pinning his “tail” T-shirt to our wall of distinction.

BIG Week! If we can help you with your aviation goals, call us. We do that and are in that business!!

Please join us in welcoming Michael!

Hi, I’m Michael Dallum, a CFI/CFII from Alexandria, Minnesota. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a passion for aviation and knew I wanted to become a pilot. I attended the University of North Dakota, where I earned all of my pilot certificates and ratings along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Aviation.
After graduating, I was searching for the right opportunity when I discovered Airways Aviation. Since moving to Grand Rapids, the community has really grown on me, and I’m proud to be part of a team that helps train the next generation of pilots. I look forward to providing high-quality instruction and helping students achieve their aviation goals.
