State Fair Highlight! Our very own Katie M. wowed the crowd today in the Lee & Rose Warner Colosseum at the MN State Fair, kicking off the Beef Champion Drive in her role as a MN 4-H Animal Science Ambassador. She followed that up with winning Beef Livestock Interviews! Neither are any small feat and we are very proud of you! 👏👏👏

🍀Good luck to our 12 Itasca County 4-Hers headed to the MN State Fair! After a little trailer snafoo this morning everyone has made it safely!

We have all the species represented this year-Dairy, Swine, Beef, Poultry, Rabbit, Sheep, Meat Goat and Dairy Goat!

Extension Educator Courtney here!

What a whirlwind of a week! The fair is over but the memories last forever. I want to share a deep appreciation for our incredible 4-Hers, families, volunteers, helpers, Fairboard, barn superintendents, fairgoers, special guests, staff, and judges that made this fair a positive showcase opportunity.

I watched youth demonstrate mastery in their projects, grow skills like public speaking, make new friends, challenge themselves, volunteer, mentor, and highlight how 4-H supports youth to be for life. 🍀

We have an amazing 4-H community and family and for that I am sincerely grateful. 💚

There are thousands of photos of our 4-Hers and activities from this past week but here are a few highlights!
