Congratulations Brooke Trumbull on your State Finals competition today. You have come a long way in a short amount of time with Coach Bottrall. Brooke averaged 160 today, far higher than most women bowlers.... I'm sure she'll be back next year!

Just have to give a shout out to one of our former bowlers Makayla Konecny who was just awarded with Yankee Springs Township firefighter of the year! Proud of you!!!!

Hey bowling fans - Mr. Terry Ellis (aka TR Sunshine) had his friend list hacked so you will need to refriend him or follow him. He is the great gentleman who videos and films a lot of our school events. Please re-friend him if you want to continue to see his good stuff.

To the young girls who:

• Have been told you’re not good enough – you are, and it’s nobody’s place to tell you otherwise.
• Are unsure what to do – just follow your passion; you don’t have to have all the answers right now.

• Think they don’t belong – you do. There’s a place for you, and your dreams are valid.
• Doubt their potential – you are stronger and more capable than you know.

Today was regional singles competition for our ladies of Wayland. Haven Baker and Brooke Trumbull both qualified for the State Finals.
Haven was tied for 1st after the 6 games with a score of 1106 with Emilee Nowicki of Forest Hill Eastern. These two ladies had to have a 1 game roll-off and Haven fell a few pins with a match total of 177 to 181. It was an amazing moment as the whole house got to watch this great match. Brooke Trumbull will join Haven in the State finals in singles as she qualified 6th with a 6-game total of 951.
Senior Faith Rabideau came 20 pins short of joining her teammates. Its simply amazing how far she has come as a bowler as she has only been bowling for us the last two years. Other finishers were Jasmine Ortiz 25th, Madison Bottrall 34th and Lilly Keech was 39th.
Congratulations again to all of our ladies as they will all compete this coming Friday at the State Finals in Team event in Waterford! Go Wildcats.
