Got the Industrial Design Award!

FRC is at its first competition of the year at Ga***rd. The competition has been great. So many friendly teams. At the end of quals we had 10 wins and 2 losses. We ranked 2nd at the end of qualification and ended up choosing teams 6077 and 6753. They were awesome. We did not make it out of semi finals. Over all this has been a wonderful competition. Thank you to all the teams at Ga***rd.

Over spring break 2075 competed at the East Kentwood competition. After some major design changes we did not rank as highly as we would have liked only placing 25th, but we were chosen by the eighth alliance captain and competed in quarter finals. Our drive team says the highlight of quarter finals was getting to hit the e stop! Although the robot did not perform well the team did. We were pleased to win Gracious Professionalism. For the first time ever we presented chairmans award, as well as having two Deans List Semi Finalists, Ben and Olivia, and one Deans List Finalist, Olivia.

Last week both FTC teams went to Iowa and they did phenomenally. 5391 after a tuff run ended up in the top 15 in the Ryerson division. Unfortunately they did not move on to worlds. However, 5385 ranked 4th in the Ortberg division and ended up being third alliance captains. They picked teams 5250 Loading... and Tech Vikes 5980. They ended up as division finalist and are going to worlds! The kids are so excited!

It's been a very busy past few weeks for enigma robotics. We had our first competition of the season! That competition was week one Waterford. We ranked 5th out of 40 and man it was a whirl wind. This week is super regionals for our middle schoolers! Everyone's very pumped.
