Children's Workshop Preschool Children’s Workshop offers a nurturing environment for students to develop a love of learning through play. We serve children ages 2-5 years old.

Children’s Workshop’s Preschool programs have been serving families since 1976. The goal of Children's Workshop Preschool is to "build better kids" and provide a secure environment where young children will share, learn, play, experiment, grow and develop self esteem during their first school experience. Toddlers and tweens do not need to be potty trained. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, licensed in the state of Michigan. We have no religious affiliation.

Cheer to 50 years.

Miss Sherri and Miss Jill are having a blast meeting our Pre-Kindergarten Class of 2027 BEFORE we even start school. Some of our students surprised them with pop-up bakeries, science experiments, art shows, collection tours, and of course meeting the whole family.

It might seem like it’s all fun and games in Pre-K, but each child is on a journey to mastering the skills that will get them ready for a successful transition into Kindergarten. Our Team achieves this through play-based learning in an intentionally curated curriculum and Handwriting without Tears. This group of teachers is known to foster creativity, independence, and many social skills. They are ready to be silly and create magic every single day.

Say Hello to our Preschool 3s crew.

PS3 MWF AM, Lunch Pals, MWF PM, & T/Th ext days:
Miss Kelsey & Miss Sarah H

With our small classes, this crew is dedicated to encourage independence in daily activities, continue to grow the social skills learned in Toddlers and Tweens. Introduction to special jobs, pattern recognition, rotating intentional themes, and early literacy. You can usually find Miss Kelsey creating at the art table and Miss Sarah H playing with the fine motor games. Both can be caught singing original made up songs with friends and the classic Disney soundtracks.

Our PS3 program has lots of options for families looking to add a boost in their child’s preschool journey. Our Fun Extensions can be added on at anytime.

5 Day All Stars is only available for our currently enrolled T/Th friends looking for additional preschool learning. Your child has the opportunity to take part in our PS3 MWF PM class. Ask about adding Lunch pals.

Lunch Pals is available for our MWF AM and our MWF pm friends. This extends their fun just a little longer with lunch, recess, and socialization with additional friends.

PS3 Enrichment is available for those currently enrolled in our PS3 MWF AM class who want the WHOLE day. This option includes Lunch Pals and purposeful play in the afternoons. This class is taught by Miss Kellie, Miss Janice, and Miss Sarah B.

Tween Class is available MWF PM for those who are 2.5 years old by Sept 1st and those 3 year olds who aren’t fully potty trained. This is a hybrid class of the Toddler Class and the PS3 class. Taught by Miss Kellie, Miss Janice, and Miss Sarah B.

Our Toddler classes are intentionally small. We are able to engage with each friend as well as allow them to create connections with friends or be independent in a safe space. Children will have daily songs, dance, art, story, fine and gross motor, plus more opportunities of fun.

Toddler classes are open for those who are 2 years old by the September 1st.

Bonus: Toddlers don’t need to be potty trained.

Introducing a new experience for our Preschool 3s:

Preschool 3s Afternoon Enrichment.

This is for friends in our Morning MWF PS3 class who want full days. This includes (weather permitting) outdoor exploration, lunch, rest time, followed by meaningful play and artistic activities. They will continue their social and emotional learning while increasing their fine and gross motor skills with new activities. Additional opportunities for imaginative and more complex play.

Miss Kellie, Miss Janice, and Miss Sarah B are so excited to be able to offer this opportunity to you.
