On Thursday, October 14, Center Art Gallery featured artists David Huang and David Barnhill will give three unique artists' talks about their solo and collaborative work, on display through November 5 at the Center Art Gallery. All are welcome to join for the following seminars and artist talks:

11:30 am–Chemistry Seminar with Barnhill and Huang, Science Building 110
3:30 pm–Engineering Seminar with Barnhill and Huang, CFAC Recital Hall
4:30 pm–"Beauty by Design" Arts Senior Seminar tour and opening reception, Center Art Gallery

Multiple speakers for were honored this morning at the ALA Youth Media Awards. Kadir Nelson was awarded the Caldecott Medal, the Coretta Scott King Award, and a Newbery Honor for THE UNDEFEATED. Jarrett J. Krosoczka, Nikki Grimes, and Daniel Minter also took home well-deserved awards. Congratulations to all, and we look forward to welcoming you to Festival in April!
