✨💙 Prom With a Purpose 2026 💙✨
IASC’s third annual Prom With a Purpose event, put together by GRHS Student Council members brought together students, staff, and community members for a celebration centered on inclusion, connection, and fun. This special event is designed to give IASC students a sensory-friendly prom experience—and this year was truly unforgettable.
The day was filled with activities for everyone to enjoy. Students shared lunch together while getting to know one another, followed by a group photo and a Grand March where fun facts and personalities were celebrated. From there, the energy continued with dancing, cookie decorating, crafts, coloring, and more—making sure every student could find something they loved (or try it all!).
A new highlight this year was our group mural project, where every student had the chance to contribute to a collaborative piece of art that will be displayed at the high school—a lasting reminder of this amazing day. We also had free student photos available (thank you 3Month Sun and The Unruly Shutter) so everyone could capture a special memory to take home.
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our student leaders, Student Council, and DAPE members, whose creativity and hard work brought everything together. We are also so grateful for the support of paras, teachers, IASC staff, food service, and families who helped make the day welcoming and successful.

Most importantly—this day was about the students. Seeing the joy, confidence, and connections made throughout the event is exactly why Prom With a Purpose exists. 💫
We are already looking forward to next year!
