This Thursday is our first Annual Fine Arts Market, and we are excited to be hosting it in tandem with ‘s ShopHop! We are all set to go for tonight’s Ecorche (Anatomical Sculpture) class that starts tonight! This class is sold out, but we will be offering another in the future, so keep your eyes peeled.

Classical Oil Painting at Ghosthouse

Taught by Alec Zemper, this course introduces the indirect painting methods of the Old Masters. Students will begin with a tonal underpainting and move through stages of glazing and scumbling to create luminous depth, refined form, and subtle transitions of light and atmosphere.

Rooted in Renaissance and Baroque traditions, the class emphasizes value structure, edge control, and the properties of traditional mediums—perfect for artists seeking a deeper understanding of classical techniques.
