Yesterday, Greta Thunberg delivered a powerful speech at the UN Climate Action Summit. Her passion and strength of speech, while striking, is so inspiring--we have much to learn from her! In the meantime, let us heed the call to action!

Had our last Sustainability Coordinator meeting tonight! It has been a great year. Thank you to all of our amazing Sustainability Coordinators that have done a tremendous job creating engaging programming and education for our campus about creation care. And a huge thanks to Becki Simpson for being a great leader and resource in helping us along.
Can't wait to see how Calvin continues to engage in the discussion and actions of sustainability.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our 'Meal or No Meal?' event about organic food! We had a great time taste testing organic vs non-organic fruits and veggies, and rocked some organic food Kahoot.
Keep checking our page for the Sustainability Theme for the month of April and what cool event we have coming up next!

Thanks to former Sustainability Coordinator, Jonny Wiers for sending this awesome article our way! Great to see the church taking an active role in creation care and acknowledging the harm that we do to the environment.
Even though Lent has already begun, challenge yourself to live plastic free for the rest of it!

What to Give Up for Lent? Smoking? Cursing? How About Plastic? The Church of England has issued a “Plastic Lent Challenge,” with six weeks’ worth of ideas for plastic objects to avoid, from wet wipes to toothbrushes.
