Last week, our 8th graders walked the halls of Vista Charter Academy for the final time as students. It was a special moment filled with pride, memories, and excitement for what lies ahead.

Over the years, you have grown academically, socially, and as leaders within our school community. As you close this chapter and begin a new one, remember the lessons learned, the friendships made, and the impact you have had on those around you.

We are proud of each and every one of you and can't wait to see what the future holds.

🍩 Donuts with Dudes! 🐾

What a great morning at our Donuts with Dudes event! Students enjoyed spending quality time with the important men and role models in their lives while sharing donuts, smiles, and conversation.

Thank you to all the dads, grandpas, uncles, brothers, and mentors who joined us and helped make this event special. We love seeing our Vista families come together and create lasting memories!

The past few weeks have been full of exciting sports events for our Vista Huskies!

⚽ Huskies Futsal Cup (0:00-0:28)
On May 23rd, Vista Charter Academy hosted the Huskies Futsal Cup. More than 24 players participated in the tournament. Everyone had a lot of fun, competed hard, and showed sportsmanship throughout the day. The tournament champions took home a replica World Cup soccer ball as their trophy!

🏅 2nd Annual Sports Banquet (0:29-1:07)
On Thursday, May 28th, we celebrated our student-athletes at the Vista Charter Academy Sports Banquet. Athletes were recognized with Leadership Awards, Most Improved Player, Most Valuable Player, and Male and Female Student Athlete of the Year awards. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of our athletes throughout the year.

⚽ Staff vs. Students Soccer Game (1:07-End)
On Friday, May 29th, students and staff faced off in our annual soccer match. The students came out strong and scored first, but the mighty staff battled back, tied the game, and eventually secured the victory!

Thank you to all of our athletes, coaches, staff, families, and supporters for another exciting year of Vista Huskies Athletics. We are proud of all that our students accomplished and look forward to another year of sports, competition, and school spirit!

What a fantastic Field Day at Vista Charter Academy!
Our 3rd grade through middle school students enjoyed an exciting day of teamwork, friendly competition, and fun at the Midwest United Soccer Complex, while our younger Huskies had a blast participating in Field Day activities right here at school.

From relay races to team challenges, students showed great sportsmanship, worked together, and created lasting memories. To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream treat!

On May 13th, our 3rd graders had an amazing field trip adventure at Camp Roger! Students stepped away from the city and spent the day surrounded by nature and lots of beautiful trees. They participated in archery, learned how to build a fire and roast marshmallows, worked together to navigate a maze in the woods, and explored different animal bones and sea shells through hands-on activities. It was a day filled with teamwork, learning, and fun — our 3rd graders had an absolute blast!
