The PREMIER SHOW for fruit and vegetable growers, farm marketers and greenhouse operators! The trade show is a premier event in and of itself.

Great Lakes horticulture is overwhelmingly family-owned, multigenerational and owner operated. It’s easy to meet the decision makers on the show floor. 3,000-4,000 attendees with over 1,000 from states outside of Michigan. With over 800 booth opportunities and over 400 vendors. t Lakes region. 147 Michigan vegetable farms over 250 acres. 279 Michigan orchards over 100 acres.

70+ education sessions and workshops will be offered over the three day period. The programming includes sessions on specialty crops, greenhouses, farm marketing, and more. Look for our September brochure to get all the details. The specialty crop researchers at Michigan State and other universities speak in many of the sessions. Pesticide credits for applicators are available for attending many of the sessions. The Expo offers many special events and receptions. The stage and agritourism networking area have expanded. The trade show has its own networking area.

🍎 The Michigan Apple C***r Contest is back in 2026 for its 28th edition!

Michigan State University Extension is happy to continue this tradition and are looking forward to honoring the excellence of commercial c***r production in Michigan. The Michigan State Horticultural Society and the Michigan Apple Committee are again proudly sponsoring the contest, which is being run by Southeast Michigan’s Extension fruit educator.

Entering the contest is easy:
🍎 Bring 2 gallons of thawed c***r to the Exhibitors Registration booth at the EXPO Registration area on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
🍏 Judging will take place Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 9.
🍎 Many of the winning c***rs over the years of this competition have been from frozen c***r made earlier in the fall.
