Our last senior student of the week is Gracie Alverson!

About Gracie, Mr. Reynolds said, "Gracie is a hardworking student who always does her best work and puts in top effort on top of being a caring individual who is always supportive of her friends. She has done great work during her four years at KIH and we know she will continue to do great things after High School."

Our last junior student of the week is Nick Bohil!

Mr. Barrett and Mr. Hendricks say, "Nick takes a leadership role in his classes and works extremely hard to master areas of research. He's respectful toward his classmates while holding himself and others accountable to high standards. He helps make our Physics / Algebra 2 class a better place to be!"

Our last sophomore student of the week for this school year is Saige Stapleton!

Saige's teachers say, "Saige is an awesome student and we don't know how she hasn't been honored for student of the week yet! Saige is constantly both doing her best and pushing others to do theirs. She brings humor, energy, and dedication to every class she's in."

Our student of the week is Autumn Granzotto!

Mr. Hendricks said, "Autumn is being recognized for her quality work in Algebra 2. The work she created for our most recent project was exceptional. Autumn did well to understand the trigonometry concepts we were connecting to our work. Additionally, she went on to apply math outside of our content to make her piece even better. It was great of Autumn to make the most of this opportunity."

This week's student of the week is George Reyes-Arriaga!

Mr. Kool said, "George has been getting after it in the Geometry classroom. His contagious dedication and hard work has led to success for not only him, but also the peers in his classroom. George is a great student, and an even better friend to his classmates. I am proud of you George!"

KIH's student of the week this week is Sarah Foster!

Mrs. Dittel had this to say about Sarah: "Sarah Foster deserves recognition for her hardwork and attitude towards school, work, and her personal relationships. Sarah's wit and humor makes my job even more fun, and she often makes the classroom more lively. Her work ethic is admirable, and Sarah always adds great points to discussion. Sarah is also one of the most genuine students I've known, and I can't wait to see what she does after high school."

About Nailah, Mrs. Wallace says, "Nailah has been a model student and we are excited to celebrate her accomplishments this year. Her teachers consistently appreciate her participation in virtual classes and thorough academic work. In English, Nailah works consistently and does a great job of utilizing feedback on her essays to grow as a writer."

Physics students used their engineering and electrical skills to adapt off-the-shelf electronic toys to donate to Mary Free Bed's Physical Rehabilitation Center for kds with difficulty using common buttons!
