Throughout the duration of Art Prize this space will host several different experts sharing their knowledge, students presenting their work and much more!

This morning we made native plant seed bombs in the KCAD Spark Park! The public walked up to the workshop, got their hands dirty, and left with seed bombs to fill our area with beautiful native flowers and grasses.

We're wrapping up the KCAD Spark Park this Sunday. Please join us from 4-8PM for a harvest festival! Take some tasty greens home and help us deconstruct the park. Dinner is provided for those who help.

Join us as we close up the KCAD Spark Park. Come and harvest the last of the veggies that Urban Roots grew for us (THANK YOU!). Bring gloves, a friend, and be ready to work. Dinner is provided, so please tell us if you're coming so we can order the right amount of food. Thanks!

The KCAD Spark Park is a living, breathing space in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, designed to spark a collaborative dialogue around the evolving, vital role that publicly accessible green spaces play within our community.

Utilizing the design process, our challenge is to engage visitors in an authentic spectacular experience which complements our ArtPrize exhibition, Society of Spectacle.
