We’re excited for students to gather and read together during our Read-a-thon assemblies next week. Read-a-thon donations are being collected through Monday, March 30, and will be used to support educator grants, school community events, teacher appreciation, and more throughout the school year.

The GR Montessori PTA is celebrating March is Reading Month with a schoolwide Read-a-thon fundraiser! Throughout March, GRM scholars are collecting donations while building a love of reading and supporting our school community.

We’ll celebrate at the end of the month with schoolwide Read-a-thon assemblies where scholars gather and read together.

Donations support educator grants, school community events, teacher appreciation, and other PTA support throughout the year. Top-earning scholars and classes will win prizes, including the chance to pie a teacher!

Our Green Team Student Chapter is hosting a pumpkin composting drop off site at our school through November 10! They’re partnering with Wormies again this year to make it happen.

Please remove all stickers, glue, candle wax, glitter etc. before dropping off your pumpkin. Drop off is by the shed that's behind the Children's House playground (southwest of our building - look for signs).

🍂 We had a blast this weekend at the GRM PTA's annual Fall Fair! 🍂

We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Fall Fair such a fun and memorable event!

Special thanks to Koetsiers Greenhouse for once again generously donating the beautiful decorations for our Photo Booth—it was a hit!

We’re also so grateful to Life EMS Ambulance and the Grand Rapids Fire Department for bringing an ambulance and fire truck to the fair, giving our students an up-close and exciting experience.

Thank you to the GRM Junior Class for popping all the popcorn that was enjoyed at the fair, and to the GRM Senior Class for bringing even more food, drinks, and fun to the event!

A big thank you to our GRPS Security Guards for spending their Saturday with us to help ensure a safe and enjoyable time for all.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Mrs. Reed and Mr. Brown for their behind-the-scenes support and help in making the fair happen.

To everyone who donated cereal and funds—your generosity helps us keep this special tradition going year after year.

A big shoutout to the Fall Fair Committee for all the time, effort, and energy put into planning and executing this amazing day.

And last but certainly not least, thank you to all the volunteers who helped set up, run activities and concessions, and stayed to clean up afterward. We truly couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️🧡💛

We had such a fun time at our Pie-a-Teacher Event last week! The top 7 sellers from our Pie Sale fundraiser got to throw whipped cream pies at some pretty terrific teacher volunteers! Many, many thanks to everyone who sold, bought, and made pies this year to support our amazing school community!
