Feliz viernes. Ya hemos superado la mitad de abril y queremos tomar un momento para reflexionar en todo lo que nuestros alumnos cumplieron el mes pasado.

Para marzo, que es el mes de lectura, tuvimos una visita especial de Dr. Roby, quien pudo ver a los alumnos brillar en sus clases. Estamos muy agradecidos por haber tenido el Scholastic Book Fair que fue alojado por Fox 17 donde el amor por la lectura de nuestros estudiantes fue revitalizado al recibir 4 libros nuevos para llevar a casa. Agradecemos el apoyo de los miembros de la junta escolar del distrito y de Triangle Construction, quienes nos acompañaron para leer en voz alta con nuestros estudiantes y ayudarlos a seleccionar sus libros.

Gracias a nuestros estudiantes y familias por asistir a nuestro fantástico evento de Noche de Alfabetización, donde más de 200 personas se unieron para disfrutar de manualidades, Bingo de Libros, lecturas en voz alta y refrigerios.

¡Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes y de su continuo esfuerzo!

Happy Friday! We’re already over halfway through April and wanted to take a moment to reflect on our wonderful scholars and what they accomplished last month.

For March is Reading Month, we had a special visit from Dr. Roby, who was able to see our scholars shine in the classroom. We are so grateful to have had the Scholastic Book Fair that was hosted by Fox 17, where our scholars’ love of reading was reinvigorated by getting 4 new books to take home with them. We had 2 school district board members and Triangle Construction stop by to read aloud with our scholars and help them pick out their books.

Thank you to our students and families for coming to our fantastic Literacy Night event where over 200 people joined us for crafts, Bingo for Books, read-alouds, and refreshments.

We’re so proud of our scholars and their continued hard work!

Mañana es el primer día del descanso de primavera y regresaremos a la escuela el 13 de abril. Esperemos que todos tengan una semana tranquila y que regresen a la escuela listos para aprender y terminar el año con éxito.

Tomorrow is the first day of spring break and we will return to school on April 13th. We hope everyone has a restful week and comes back ready to learn and finish out the year strong!

Estamos muy felices de haber tenido a 175 niños en nuestra Celebración de Asistencia Perfecta hoy. ¡Un enorme agradecimiento a nuestras Mamás de las Palomitas por preparar todos los bocadillos y al Equipo de Asistencia por planificar el evento! Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes.

We are so happy to have had 175 kids come to our Perfect Attendance Celebration today. Huge thank you to our Popcorn Moms for putting all of the snacks together and to the Attendance Team for planning the event! We’re so proud of our scholars.

FOX 17 helps get books into the hands of kids in West Michigan Research shows learning to read at a young age has a huge impact on a person's life. That's why FOX 17 is part of the "If You Give a Child a Book..." campaign, providing books to kids at two schools.
