I’m excited to announce that Grace Julia Meridan will be coming back for my November concert! She is not only an incredible artist, but also a close friend. We have shared so many meaningful musical moments together over the years, from metal stages to classical performances. I'm excited to share the stage with her again.
Here is Grace's bio! Get your early bird tickets here: Aziza Poggi's Classical Concert - EARLY BIRD TICKETS in Grand Rapids - Checkout https://share.google/hGYfVQ0UIPVvs0yZg (while they last)
Grace Meridian is a multidisciplinary artist with roots in operatic performance and symphonic metal. Her past stage work includes performances in Italy at the Tuscia Opera Festival in Viterbo, where she portrayed La Badessa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and in Rome as Nina in Pergolesi’s Lo Frate ’Nnamorato. She was formerly the lead vocalist for the Chicago-based symphonic metal band Shield of Wings.
As a solo artist, she appeared three times at the renowned Metal Female Voices Festival in Belgium, sharing the stage with international vocalists in a celebration of women’s power in metal. Her rare ability to fuse classical vocal precision with a commanding modern edge made her a standout across genres.
Now focused on storytelling through fiction, Grace recently published her debut psychological thriller, The Reflection Game—a haunting exploration of identity, obsession, and mirrored truths. Though her creative path has evolved, the dramatic intensity and emotional nuance honed on stage continue to shape her artistic voice.
Whether in music or on the page, Grace brings a deep sense of narrative and presence to every performance—and remains devoted to creating art that moves, challenges, and connects. She was also a guest singer in Aziza
Poggi’s Classical Concert last November and has been invited to return for the upcoming November performance.
