CONGRATULATIONS to our FHPS bus drivers! They won first place in Kent County's School Bus Driving Championship (a.k.a. Bus Road-eo). Congrats to the 8 bus drivers who competed, and won: Jack Langholz, Dan Smolek, Mike Putney, Margaret Krey, Angela Yerian, Mikal Bos, Brad Meier, and Missy Prill. Two drivers, Jack and Dan went on to compete at the state level and represented FHPS! What's a bus driving championship, you ask? It's where school bus drivers are tested on their operating skills, traffic laws, and their ability to safely navigate tight, real-world maneuvers!
