FHPS continues to be among the leaders in Michigan for academic achievement. Our schools have among the highest percentage of students in Michigan meeting or exceeding tougher state standards on the Michigan Education Assessment Program tests, and our scores continue to surpass state testing averages. Our high school students continue to post the highest composite ACT scores in our district’s hist

ory. Recently our three high schools also were ranked among the top high schools in the nation. FHPS serves over 10,000 students within a district that encompasses 68 square miles—one of the largest school districts in the state of Michigan.
