Building Blocks Childcare is located in Northwest Grand Rapids, 2 blocks from Forest Lake Elementary school. I teach my children with Montessori and 123 Learn Preschool Curriculum
CPR, SIDS/Shaken Baby, First Aid, + additional ongoing training. Large, safe backyard to run & explore. Outside every day (weather permitting)
Lots of indoor space to learn & play. Song, dance, arts and crafts projects &

daily preschool based learning plan. We read a lot of books, and I encourage the older children to read to the younger ones and even the 3 years olds to read picture books to the babies. The children love doing this and it is great for them. Age appropriate daily learning worksheets & activities for older kids as well. Separate Childcare Home

Everyone gets a mini-birthday party. Holiday celebrations/parties
Nature walks
"Theme weeks" several times each year. We do fun activities to celebrate different fun days such as: Dr. Seuss birthday and the first day of spring and Holidays. "Letter of the Week"

I offer very competitive pricing and a strong, fun learning environment. I work closely with each family to make sure they are satisfied with the care their little one is getting, and I encourage parents to ask questions.

Building Blocks ChildCare is now taking applications for enrollment for ages 2-5 (possible toddler as well)

~ Separate childcare only home with a huge fenced yard, NW Grand Rapids
~ Scholarships (up to $12,000/year) available now
~ Preschool-like and play based curriculum
~ 745am-430pm, M-F

**There is ONE Full-time opening beginning June 8th. This can be for a toddler turning 2 by the end of year**

There are 2 additional full-time openings starting Sept 2026
