For all those in the CALL program who were inspired by many years of Fred Johnson's courses with us, please pray for his family and the Hope College community as they mourn the loss of a great man and remember how he always referred to us as "scholars of CALL". We were honored and gifted by his contributions to our program and we will miss him so much!

The lecture for Jane Austen's 250th birthday, led by the accomplished Dr. Jennifer Holberg, offered an insightful hour of Regency discourse. Following the presentation, attendees were invited to enjoy a cake reception to mark the occasion.
