Washington D.C Update:
The group ate dinner together at Ben’s Chili Bowl, a black-owned restaurant in DC where famous civil rights leaders and black entertainers have eaten. The group also attended a lobbying conference with the Friends Committee on National Legislation. The group is receiving training on lobbying for immigration provisions and later this week they will be meeting with staff from MI senators offices to lobby them.
