Miss Adrian has been with us throughout this summer, diving into our community and camps, and we can’t wait to have her around for the full dance season!🫶🏼

Adrian Martinez is a dancer, choreographer, and educator originally from West Michigan. She began dancing at a young age and grew up training in a variety of styles while competing throughout the Midwest, including Illinois, Michigan, and New York.
She furthered her training at Western Michigan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Dance Studio Management Certificate. During her studies, she worked with choreographers including Mike Esperanza, Noelle Kayser, Marisa Bianan, Kaitlyn Po***ck, and Megan Slayter. She also performed with the university’s touring company, Western Dance Project, under the direction of Kelsey Paschich during the 2025–2026 season. Adrian has performed throughout the Midwest, including at RADFest (2026), the Detroit Dance City Festival Summer Stage (2025), and Kalamazoo Art Hop (2024-2025). She was also selected to perform Loïe Fuller’s Lily of the Nile at the East-Central American College Dance Association Festival Adjudication Concert & Gala in 2026.
Most recently, her original work, Between the Calm Lake Waters, was selected for performance at the West Michigan Dance Festival Main Stage Concert and the Detroit Dance City Festival Summer Stage. Miss Adrian is thrilled to join the faculty at Over the Top and is passionate about creating a supportive environment where dancers can continue to build strong technical foundations while developing their confidence & artistry in dance.
