Last week our 5th-8th graders went skating for the end of the year celebration. For some, it was their first time going skating and there was lots of fun had by scholars and staff.

Our 8th graders are spreading their wings and stepping boldly into their next chapter. As the Class of 2030 prepares to leave Gerald R. Ford Academic Center, we celebrate every laugh, every lesson, and every moment that shaped them into the incredible young people they’ve become.

Principal K shared powerful words for our Bengals to carry with them, reminders of who they are and what they’re capable of. And of course, we can’t forget Mrs. Kirksey and Mrs. Griffith, longtime favorites of so many of our 8th graders — their guidance, love, and steady presence have meant the world.

As our Bengals head to high school and beyond, we’re cheering them on every step of the way. Once a Bengal, always a Bengal. 🖤🧡
