What we can or cannot do, what we consider possible or impossible, is rarely a function of our true capability. It is more likely a function of our beliefs about who we are.

The power of subtraction.
We often think that to improve our lives, we need to add more possessions, relationships, and accomplishments.
But sometimes, the key to unlocking our true potential lies in removing the things that no longer serve us.
Many problems can be solved by removing some foods, people, and habits from your life.
Here are four steps to help you subtract the things that no longer serve you:
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭: Identify the things that are holding you back
The first step to removing anything from your life is identifying those things. Take some time to reflect on your life and think about the things that are causing you stress anxiety, or frustration.
Maybe it’s a toxic friend who brings you down, a bad habit that’s holding you back, or unhealthy foods that are making you feel sluggish and tired.
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮: Let go of the attachment
Once you’ve identified the things holding you back, it’s time to let go of any attachment you may have to them.
This can be hard, especially if you’ve become used to having these things in your life.
But remember, letting go of things that no longer serve you is a necessary step toward self-improvement.
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯: Take action
Now that you’ve identified what you need to remove from your life and you’ve let go of any attachment to these things, it’s time to take action.
Start by removing one thing at a time. If it’s a toxic friend, distance yourself from them. If it’s a bad habit, take steps to break it. If it’s unhealthy foods, replace them with healthier options. Whatever it is, take action and start subtracting.
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟰: Embrace the positive changes
As you remove the things that no longer serve you, you’ll notice positive changes in your life. You’ll feel lighter, more energetic, and more focused.
Embrace these changes and use them as motivation to continue subtracting things that are holding you back.
By removing the things that no longer serve you, you can create space for new opportunities and experiences.
You’ll be amazed at the positive impact it can have on your life.
