I have been getting inquiries almost daily for the past couple weeks and my schedule is full for the next month! To streamline things, I decided to temporarily remove my direct booking page from my website. My “book lessons” button now takes you to this page with my contact information and a contact form, where I can communicate with you directly about scheduling lessons. Current students have been e-mailed my booking link directly for rescheduling lessons, etc!

Thank you for understanding! My booking page will be back online in April with my entire summer calendar available to book. 🥳

In 2025, I:
-taught many new and returning faces in my home studio (according to Acuity, I taught a total of 83 people in my home studio last year!)
-taught lessons at Northview High School, and made the difficult decision to not return this fall as I have been trying to balance too much
-had a truly marvelous year teaching voice at Calvin University
-grew in my music directing skillz (Camp in Concert at Civic Theatre, two weeks of Dramatic Discovery daycamp at Civic, Blandford’s Christmas Carol, and currently music directing Peter and the Starcatcher for Calvin Theatre Company)
-taught a couple more classes at Civic (including one with one of my fave friends from college/Vox GR!!! That was a big treat)
-sang in…I think…seven Vox GR concerts (with two especially memorable ones this summer! A performance at Meijer Gardens and our first Vox GR roadtrip up to Beaver Island for the Baroque on Beaver festival)
-did my first performing and solo singing since having Etta! That was a big leap
-balanced a lot of mothering and working! And learned a lot about work/life balance, while finding myself again post-baby, as both a human and professional
-finally got my piano tuned

I am in a really great place right now, and I am SO SO thankful for my home studio students, my colleagues and students at Calvin (being able to work with other voice teachers is amazing 🥲), my community at Civic Theatre, everyone who sings with/works with/supports Vox GR, and everyone who supports me from near and far. I am making no big plans for this year (and honestly hoping to chill a little bit) but am excited to see where life takes me 🤍 Let this be a year of staying weird, crafting kind spaces, finding curiosity, being brave, and having fun.

A little mini spring recital recap! Congratulations to these amazing young artists on completing a successful school year. I’m especially proud of my FIVE seniors - Yarlis, Sophia, Addy M, Addy V, and Nico. I will miss you all so much next year (except for Sophia who is moving on to my voice studio at Calvin!!). 🩷

It’s true! I’m back from maternity leave! This post is about a month late. My social media game is weak right now but my fall schedule is full aside from some daytime slots on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Seeya in the studio - my assistant voice teacher may or may not make an appearance!

Little mini update!

I am still on maternity leave and plan to re-open August 1. I am starting to make plans for the fall and in July, I will reach out to students who took lessons in the 2023-2024 school year and then open enrollment to new students. My current plan is to continue offering flex packages, and the fall semester dates will be August through December. Exact pricing, dates, and availability to come!

We have been loving the baby bubble we are in, but I’m also so excited to get back into it!
