We know that hair cuts can be a challenging experience for some people. Rebound is happy to partner with a local cosmetologist with years of experience providing patient and compassionate haircuts to those who might need more time, more movement, or more understanding.
Every month we provide haircuts in our Lansing Learning Center as a calm and supportive environment.
We would love to welcome ALL members of the community who may benefit from this support.

As summer approaches, it’s important to remember that water safety is especially critical for many autistic individuals and families.
According to the National Autism Safety Council, wandering/elopement is one of the leading safety concerns for autistic children and dependent adults, and drowning remains one of the greatest associated risks.
At Rebound Therapies, we believe awareness and preparation save lives.
💧 Water Safety Reminders:
• Always maintain active supervision near water
• Use locks, alarms, and barriers when possible
• Teach water safety skills early and consistently
• Consider swim lessons that meet your child’s individual needs
• Create a family emergency safety plan
• If a child is missing, check nearby water first and call 911 immediately
Many autistic individuals are naturally drawn to water due to sensory interests including movement, sound, reflection, and calmness. Understanding this can help families and communities respond more safely and compassionately.
