¡Martes es maravilloso! Every Tuesday we fill this beautiful space with the sounds of laughter and music. We explore through intentional play and artistic expression. We create this community together. Each day brings new learning. Comment if you would like to join us! Tuesdays 1-3pm at LiveUnprocessed Studios 5270 Northland Dr NE.

Montessori materials provide instant feedback to the learner. I set up the materials, provide a short demonstration, then the child takes the lead. You can see the wheels turning here. He noticed that there were some beads missing for completing the larger numbers. We added the missing beads and he was ready to continue his work.

¡Bienvenidos! I am Erin O’Brien-Jenison, creator of Bajo los árboles. I have ten years experience of teaching in an excellent Spanish Immersion public school program. Education in Spanish Immersion is unique - it requires consistent dedication to adaptability, collaboration, and creativity. My fellow teachers and I worked diligently to create engaging units of study with rich language experiences. Each year I worked to foster a community where every student felt seen, heard and loved. Becoming better humans - together- has always been the primary goal. I am still inspired by the growth of my students and I carry the memories with me in my newest adventures.
I am also a passionate Montessorian and have spent 9 years studying and practicing Montessori parenting and teaching philosophies at home with my three children. I love the possibilities of combining all of my passions - Spanish, Montessori and Social Emotional Wellness. I created this space as an offering to our community. I am excited to share it with you!

Hello! Welcome to Bajo los árboles - Spanish Under the Trees. This is a taste of the magic that happens when we provide language learning experiences in a multiage setting. An older child with a Spanish Immersion background offered to share a favorite book with her younger classmates. Together they are building community and connecting with new vocabulary.
