Engineering students find community in the chaos of FIRST Robotics - FANGV hosts three-day robot build competition for 11 teams Students who are alumni of FIRST Robotics hosted a tournament for 11 teams.

On Saturday during Roger That at the Grand Rapids Public Museum, 234 individuals contributed to the 9'x12' mural of pixelated Earth. This was an exercise in understanding how satellites send images to Earth, pixel by pixel. Our mural was 23,400 pixels!

Kicked off Roger That! with an interactive space challenge at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Junior astronauts were challenged to build a Snap Circuit while donning astronaut gloves.

GVSU PCE engineer is out of this world. Amanda Stark, a 2016 Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering graduate joined NASA for her Co-op. She is currently the principal investigator for NASA’s MARVL (Modular Assembled Radiators for Nuclear Electric Propulsion Vehicles at NASA’s Langley Research Center.
