Our Adult Skilled Trades and High School programs have both officially kicked off over the last couple of weeks! And with the start of a new school year, we thought it was only fitting to take a little trip down memory lane…

The halls and labs are busy and there is some seriously good energy in the building!

It’s the first week of WMCI’s adult program, and we’re excited to welcome students back for another year of learning, hands-on training, and building their futures in the skilled trades.

Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate several of our newest WMCI students at the New to Industry Orientation. We recognized some of the scholarship recipients who are taking the first step toward a career in the construction industry!

These scholarships help make education and career opportunities more accessible for students as they begin their WMCI journey.

Congratulations to all scholarship recipients! We’re excited to have you as part of the WMCI community. Cheers to Year 5 at WMCI!

Our President spent some time yesterday morning at eightWest talking with Tom Hillen WOOD TV about our programs and the opportunities available to students looking to build a career in construction.

And the timing couldn’t be better, classes start next week!

Last night, we welcomed our newest students to WMCI for New to Industry Orientation!

It was an exciting evening of getting connected, learning what to expect, and celebrating the start of their journey into the construction industry. We also had the opportunity to award several scholarships, including the Norm Brady Scholarship, Trading Up Scholarship, WMCI General Scholarship, Tracie Greene Scholarship, and Tony Roussey Building Futures Scholarship.

We’re so excited to see where this next chapter takes our students!

Last night, we welcomed our newest high school students to WMCI for orientation as we officially kick off the 2026–2027 academic year!

We were excited to hear from some special guests, including former WMCI students, who have gone on to build careers in the industry, a jobsite leader and one of our WMCI instructors. Their stories and advice gave our newest students a glimpse of where a WMCI education can take them.
