I’m so excited to get my Certificate of Completion for the Keyboard Games Comprehensive Course from Music Learning Academy! It’s just the beginning of my journey to understand and apply Gordon’s Music Learning Theory in my piano instruction.
Teaching music as a language for the purpose of understanding (audiation) has turned my world upside down in a wonderful way and has grown my own musicianship in ways I never dreamed!

I love my magnetic grand staff so much that I’m taking a couple to my online students in Ohio this wknd! Excited for all the hands-on fun and learning they will add to our virtual lessons. Also, the lovely packaging from Music Escapades Shoppe made me feel like it was my birthday.
I love it when my former student, fellow piano teacher and dear friend Mei Lin Wooden pops in for a visit! We talk shop The Piano Studio of Mei Lin Wooden, and this time she treated me to a preview of what's to come her senior year at GVSU. I snuck a tiny snippet and she gave me permission to post. It's going to be a fantastic recital. Do you see the smile on her face as she plays? Love this girl!
