We’re so excited to launch Libros We Love: De Zavala Reads — a bilingual podcast created and produced by our amazing 4th grade students at De Zavala Environmental Science Academy!

Each week, our student hosts chat with two guests about their favorite books — one interview in English and one in Spanish. Guests include teachers, students, parents, community members, and special visitors.

This podcast helps students grow their reading, speaking, listening, and storytelling skills while celebrating a love for books and bilingualism. 💬📖

Join us on Monday, January 19 for the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade as we come together with our families to honor Dr. King’s powerful legacy of unity, service, and peace.

Students are invited to illustrate their vision of the future inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s message of fairness, peace, and opportunity for all.
