UPDATE: All Harmony North Texas & Waco schools, as well as the District Office, will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 31, due to anticipated winter weather this evening and overnight. All extra-curricular activities are also canceled for tomorrow.

We will continue to closely monitor the weather for Wednesday, Feb. 1. Any additional updates or changes to school operations for Wednesday will be communicated to our Harmony families through our school Messenger system, school website, and official pages.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE**

Earlier today, Dallas County leaders announced an Executive Order requiring all students, teachers, staff and visitors of Dallas County schools be required to wear masks indoors while on campus. The ruling is effective Wednesday, August 11, at 11:59 p.m. The mask order applies to everyone regardless of vaccination status, and comes after a district judge earlier in the day ruled against a previous order by Gov. Greg Abbott declaring masks optional in schools.

Accordingly, all Harmony students and employees located in Dallas County are required to wear protective masks or face coverings indoors while on campus or in District offices beginning tomorrow, Aug. 12. Harmony will continue to provide masks for both students and employees upon request.

The health and safety of our students and staff continue to be a top priority. We will continue to keep you updated as new developments occur.
