Aquí tenemos las expectativas para los uniformes en la escuela Garcia Elementary. El uso de uniforme es obligatorio. Si tienen dificultades económicas, por favor hablen con nuestra consejera/ trabajadora social, la Sra. We can't wait to see you this Thursday at our Garcia Elementary Sneak a Peek! Come anytime from 6-7:30pm. Teachers will have 3 sessions where you will get to meet your child's teacher, drop off school supplies and learn about classroom and school expectations. Teachers will go over arrival, dismissal, uniforms, academics and everything in between. See you here!

¡Estamos muy entusiasmados por verlos este jueves en el evento "Sneak a Peek" (vistazo) de la Escuela Primaria Garcia! Pueden asistir en cualquier momento entre las 6:00 pm. y las 7:30 pm. Los maestros ofrecerán tres sesiones en las que podrán conocer al maestro de su hijo, entregar los útiles escolares y conocer las expectativas tanto del salón de clases como de la escuela. Se abordarán temas como la llegada y la salida, los uniformes, el programa académico y otros aspectos importantes. ¡Nos vemos aquí!

Attention families, from June 1 to July 31, Grand Prairie ISD will operate on a summer 😎 hours schedule.
District summer hours are:
Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-5:00 pm

Congratulations to our very own teachers, Ms. Garcia, Ms. Torres, Ms. Herrera and Ms. Perez for receiving the Teacher Incentive Allotment distinction! We are so proud of all of your hard work in the classroom ⭐️❤️

This afternoon, Grand Prairie ISD hosted the Teacher Incentive Allotment Reception for the new cohort of teachers who earned this distinction. This year, across 30 campuses, 153 teachers earned a TIA distinction. The total amount earned by this group was just over $1.7 million 💰! Forty teachers in this group received the TIA distinction previously and moved up to a higher level of recognition this year 👏 🎉 🙌. Today we celebrate someone who keeps the heart of Garcia Elementary beating strong—our incredible Nurse Morales ❤️

From scraped knees to worried tummies, from big feelings to unexpected moments, Nurse Morales shows up with compassion, patience, and a calm presence that brings comfort to our entire school community. She is more than a nurse—she is a safe space, a steady hand, and a familiar smile our students and staff can count on every single day.

Thank you, Nurse Morales, for caring for our students as if they were your own, for advocating for their well-being, and for the countless ways you go above and beyond—many of which go unseen.
