Graduation is not the end of the journey. At ILTexas, your story continues long after you walk the stage.
The ILTexas Alumni Association exists to locate, connect with, and provide lifelong support to ILTexas graduates. Alumni simply means former students, but being an Eagle alum means remaining part of a community that continues to grow together long after graduation.
Life after high school does not always follow one path. College, careers, goals, and opportunities may look different for everyone and can change along the way. The Alumni Association is here to support graduates through every stage by helping connect alumni with resources and opportunities related to navigating campus life, financial aid, wellness and health, academic support, career guidance, and networking with fellow ILTexas alumni. Alumni also receive updates about surveys, reunions, events, and opportunities to stay connected.
Your journey with ILTexas does not end at graduation, it soars. Connect with the Eagles who came before you and continue being part of the ILTexas community for years to come. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
If you are an ILTexas graduate and have not joined the Alumni Association yet, we would love to stay connected. Contact ([email protected]) to learn more about joining and becoming part of the growing ILTexas alumni network.

“I’ve had a lot of teachers and staff here who have supported me and pushed me to keep going, especially during times when I was struggling. Mr. Rivers especially was an inspiration this year because he never stopped believing in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself. He was always patient, kind, and encouraging, and always there when I needed help, which really made a difference.” - Jayden V. (Class of 2027)

At ILTexas AGPHS, learning goes beyond the classroom. Throughout the school year and during the summer, students have opportunities to participate in educational travel experiences that help bring learning to life while building leadership skills, cultural understanding, and global awareness.
ILTexas offers a variety of travel opportunities including the Distinguished Student Ambassador Program (DSAP), JROTC Leadership Camps, Service Academy visits, Cyber, Language, and Leadership programs, Chinese Immersion Camps, and summer language programs in places such as Taiwan and the University of Mississippi. Students also have opportunities to travel to universities, museums, historical sites, and leadership events that connect directly to what they learn in the classroom.
These experiences allow students to explore new places, build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and gain real world experiences that prepare them for future success. Through travel, students are able to expand their perspectives, connect with different cultures, and create memories and opportunities that last far beyond high school.
At ILTexas, we believe education should be experienced, not just studied, and these opportunities help our Eagles grow as future global leaders.

"The MCJROTC program is a meaningful and impactful part of AGPHS for many students, including myself. My MCJROTC instructors: SgtMaj Kretschmer, SgtMaj Davila, and GySgt Jimenez have been more than just teachers; they’ve been pillars of support who have built my resilience and helped me thrive academically. During moments of doubt or fear of failure, they've given me the belief that success isn’t about being perfect, it's about the discipline to show up for yourself. They've taught me that greatness is won in the trenches by staying consistent and attacking the hard stuff even when you don't feel like it. To them, I say thank you." - Osmar C. (Class of 2027)
