Congratulations to SGP Choir on their State Solo & Ensemble Results! They have broken two school records!

17 Bronze medals for our Ensembles
8 students in Weep, O Mine Eyes
9 students in Shoot, False Love, I Care Not

New record: They have never had ensembles make 1's on two different songs before.
9 Silver medals for 2's on solos
16 Gold medals for 1's on solos

New record: The previous record for gold medals at SGP is 12.

Xavier Mays also received the Outstanding Performer Award, which is an amazing accomplishment. It is near the level of making the All-State Choir!

If you are looking for a place to get a delicious breakfast and lunch for Free, then Grand Prairie ISD’s Child Nutrition Department has got you covered. If your children are ages 1 to 18 or enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21, you can visit one of the campuses below for a free meal.

These meals are NOT exclusive to Grand Prairie residents; all are welcome to visit one of the campuses listed below, Monday - Friday (All meals must be consumed on-site in our cafeterias, and students must be present to receive a meal; no to-go or curbside meals.)

Meal Service Times:
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m.- 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

Today we wrapped up a HEARTfelt Line Camp with 🫶🏻 We can’t wait to take what we learned and make it a great season! One more week of work week before we start our summer! 💕✨

We are excited to welcome back Terrence Starling who has been named Principal of South Grand Prairie High School.

We are also very excited and proud of Dr. Larry Jones who has accepted the position of Executive Director of Career and Technical Education.
