Witty Wednesday: Beat the Summer Slide!
Did you know that just 15-20 minutes of reading a day can help students maintain important skills over the summer?
Whether it's a favorite novel, a comic book, a devotional, a biography, or even reading a recipe together, every page helps keep young minds active and growing.
Make reading part of the daily routine. A few minutes each day is more effective than trying to cram it all in at once.
Small habits can make a big difference when August arrives!

We are thankful for this past school year. For the growth, the laughter, the lessons learned, and the memories we shared together. As we take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the summer months, we are already looking forward to the next one and all the moments still to come.
Have a safe and restful summer, Roadrunners.
We will see you in August.

Thursday Throwback 🍩
Happy National Donut Day!
In honor of one of the sweetest days of the year, we're throwing it back to one of our favorite MRA traditions: Donuts with Dads!
Each year, we love welcoming dads, grandfathers, and father figures to campus for a morning of fellowship, conversation, and, of course, donuts. Events like these remind us how important the partnership between home and school truly is.
We are grateful for the families who support, encourage, and invest in our students each day. Thank you for being such an important part of the MRA community.
Here's to sweet memories, strong families, and plenty of donuts! 🍩

A few weeks ago, we treated our teachers to a Wild West themed luncheon, and it was such a fun reminder of how special our staff community is. We enjoyed good food, sweet fellowship, and a little mystery as teachers worked together to solve a whodunit murder mystery. The laughs, the teamwork, and the moments of friendly competition made it a day to remember.
We are so thankful for the teachers who pour into our students day after day. We see the heart you bring, the time you give, and the way you love our kids well. Thank you for making MRA what it is.

Senior Spotlight: Sebastian
For Sebastian, senior year has been about being present, choosing to enjoy each moment with friends and teachers instead of rushing toward the finish line. That mindset has made this year especially meaningful, and those relationships are what he will miss most after graduation.
He stays active through music, sports, and creativity, spending time playing guitar, serving on worship teams, and competing in pickleball, volleyball, and basketball. He also enjoys videography and editing, using those skills to create content for others. His advice to younger students reflects his character: choose your friends wisely and stay true to who you are.
Looking ahead, Sebastian is considering studying nursing or kinesiology, while also exploring a future as an overseas ESL teacher. This summer, he will be traveling to Japan to help lead a camp, something he is especially excited about. Isaiah 41:10 is a verse that brings him peace and confidence, reminding him that God is always with him. We are proud of Sebastian’s heart, talents, and the way he invests in both his faith and the people around him.
