Congratulations to our President and Thespian of The Year, Eva Marin, for taking home The Outstanding Achievement Award in Theatre!

Hello my name is Eva Marin! I joined theatre my freshman year musical and I’m so glad I did because I later became our troupe President!! I plan to go to UT Arlington to major in Nursing or Theatre Education. I want to have a very reliable career just in case, but I do plan to pursue theatre. Possibly become a high school theatre director, taking inspiration from my directors and favorite teachers, Mr. Manzano and Ms. Joyner. A little tip for underclassmen, do what you love and always keep it as a part of you!!!

Yesterday, our troupe held their annual banquet and their final bow as they put on their last performance of the 2025-2026 school year! During the banquet, we had six new members who were inducted into the International Thespian Society!
Inductions included:
Joziah Escobar, Jordan Fuller, Paris Powell, Donovan Ferrer, Haskel Garza, and Annabel Sifuentes
Congratulations!

And during our final bow, awards were given out as well!

Hii everyone! ^^ My name is Addie King, I serve as Vice President of our troupe :D. I began theater when i was 8 years old, and I joined GPHS Theater my junior year. After graduation, I plan to pursue a masters in psychology at UTA with a minor in theater. My tip for underclassmen; have fun! Live your life with as much joy as you can, make mistakes, be loud, be passionate. You will never regret authentic living. >__

Haskel Garza, Senior at Grand Prairie High School right now I’m currently only doing Theater and JROTC in my free time. My plan for the future is to enlist in the U.S Army and start off my avionic mechanic career there and try to start off my career outside the military with that as well. The biggest tip I’d give to my underclassmen is to not slack off your senior year, it’s the most important year and stay on top of your grades always if you’re doing any extracurriculars.

Congratulations to our thespian treasurer Juan Salazar for receiving his lettermen jacket this year. Congrats!

Annabel Sifuentes, Senior at GPHS I am an artist who loves to spend every spare minute learning new crafts and growing my artistic knowledge. I enjoy sewing, crocheting, and building sets :3. I plan to go to college to become a Medical examiner and a theatre costume designer or costume crew. Even if making costumes is on the side, I still love to continue my love of theater in any way I can. ♡ My advice for undergraduates is to take care of yourself before others because only you can become who you want to be not others. ♡
