Women's Self-Defense at Mira Lagos

See you in class tonight 6-7pm at the Mira Lagos HOA Clubhouse.

Participants are welcome to stay for the 7-8pm Chayon-Ryu Martial Arts class as well.

Due to a PID Meeting at our facility, there will be no class this week. Please review the following video when you get some time as a review or preview to upcoming material. This video summarizes 'What is Chayon-Ryu' then covers some basic situations you could encounter. Many of the self-defense techniques require prior knowledge of safely falling. So, if you don't feel comfortable with falling yet, stop your partner training just before the takedown/falling part.

Chayon-Ryu Intro and Self-Defense An introduction to the Chayon-Ryu teaching method along with the required self-defense techniques for white belt students in Chayon-Ryu.

Class will be held Thursday, August 15 at 6-7pm.

There will be no class on August 22 due to a PID meeting at the HOA Clubhouse, but we'll return on Thursday, August 29.

Madison’s art was selected as the winner of the Fleet Gift Shop annual art contest. They created limited-edition Christmas ornaments using her artwork and will be on sale starting October 21. Madison will be on-site to autograph each ornament from 10:30-1pm. Her ornament is the center picture.
