"Texas children ages birth through 20 yrs who have medically complex conditions and are enrolled in Medicaid are eligible to receive skilled nursing & other services in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPECC).

PPECCs provide children with complex medical conditions opportunities to play, learn and socialize with other children in a community-based center while giving their parents or caregivers time to go to work, school or take care of other key family needs."
