Grand Ledge National Honor Society

Thank you so much to everyone that donated to the NHS canned food drive this past weekend. The GL community gave 800 food items to the GLEAP food bank and $480 to support their efforts in helping those in need.
However we were not able to make it to all the neighborhoods we had planned. If we did not make it to your house and you still want to donate please message us with your address and we will come pick up your donations. Thank you so much for the support!

Don’t forget canned food drive is today! Leave you cans on your doorstep and we will come by and pick them up.

The total count of our contributions to the food bank is in! Through returnables, cash donations, and food items, we were able to donate $154.90 and 773 items to the Grand Ledge Food Bank. Thank you very much to everyone who donated!

Members of the Grand Ledge NHS will be driving around the city today from 1-4 PM asking for donations to hand off to the food bank. Below is a list of items that would be greatly appreciated. We will also accept any returnables to donate funds to the food bank!

The NHS volunteers who helped out with training for emergency professionals did a great job last Saturday!

So glad everyone started planning their service project with their Sub-Committee groups today. It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with!

The Grand Ledge National Honor Society will be conducting a can drive on Saturday, April 21st. Members will be out in the community from 4-7 PM to collect canned food and imperishables for the Grand Ledge Food Bank. Any amount will help! If you or somebody you know would like to request us to come to a specific place or neighborhood to pick up donations, please contact the NHS through any online platform for assistance!

We are doing a Yankee Candle fundraiser to help raise money to support our service projects for the year! Some that we have already planned out are fall yard clean ups, Thanksgiving Dinners and adopt a family around the Holiday Season.
