Students wanting to schedule Monday one-on-one virtual help should EMAIL the content teacher.

Students should be working on Edgenuity classes on Monday/Friday. All classes should be BLUE or GREEN on the dashboard. If the dashboard is any other color, there’s more work to do!

40% of last week’s family texts got NO RESPONSE. From a mentoring perspective that leaves us wondering…did the text go through? did we send the text to a wrong number? did the parents/students not understand the feedback in the text?

Please remember that these texts are meant to be interactive. It also provides a great opportunity to help with praise & corrections. Even a quick 👍🏻or 👎🏻 lets us know the communication was received.

So, for the 60% of students and parents who DID reply…👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

🎉PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT🎉

We are so excited to enter into a partnership with Peckham Youth Vocation Services. Students at Relevant can now earn high school credit while participating in on the job training in multiple fields such as: manufacturing, food services, hospitality, and medical facilities (amongst others).

As students progress through the program they can then become eligible for community based apprenticeships to prepare them for post-secondary success!

Relevant students and parent/supportive adults, this is the final calendar for the 2026-2027 school year. As always, you will receive a refrigerator magnet at Open House in August. This post will also be pinned to the FB page AND on www.relevantacademy.org.

We encourage families to plan appointments, vacations, etc. when it doesn't take students out of the classroom. Any date marked in blue is a "no school for students" day and pink is "students work from home". Those are great days to get those appointments or extra vacations in!
