We are excited to welcome Emily Sackter to the Wingate community. Emily will be joining the LIFE program as a paraprofessional.
Hi, my name is Emily Sackter, and I’m so thrilled to be starting at Windgate Elementary School as a LIFE Paraprofessional this year! I love helping kiddos learn, grow, and feel encouraged every day. Early this summer, I married my husband, and we’ve loved starting this new chapter together. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and creating my own music, photography, exploring the outdoors, traveling to new places, and spending quality time with family and friends.

We are so excited to welcome another familiar face back to the Wingate team! Pam Tate will be Wingate’s READ Act paraprofessional.
Hello, my name is Pam Tate. I am excited to be walking the halls of Wingate once again after a year of retirement. I previously taught Special Education for fifteen years in Glenwood Springs, and upon moving to Grand Junction decided to use my Masters in CLD. I taught CLD for five years with the district at Fruitvale and Wingate before retiring in May 2025. My husband, Craig and I have two grown children, Ryer and Josie who are living their own lives in Fort Collins and Raleigh. Presently, Craig and I are busy growing our gardens, nine chickens and an incredibly cute cat, Hermes. Besides enjoying my “farm chores” I enjoy walks, reading, and traveling in the US and abroad in Europe. I am looking forward to supporting the teachers and students at Wingate with reading intervention.
