Fat Cat Pottery is a "paint your own pottery" , hand building, and wheel throwing studio. We are located in downtown Grand Art and Fun for Everyone! WE SHIP!
Just pick out a piece of unfinished pottery, paint yourself silly, and then leave it with us to fire it. Come back in a week and pick up your masterpiece! Did we mention it's FUN! We also have wet clay. Take a piece of mud and build something from scratch. We have classes for the clay inexperienced and offer walk-in clay for anyone who is just ready to go for it! Clay pieces require a two week firing time. From out of town? We gotcha' covered! Come on in!

Fall has crept into the studio at Fat Cat! The leaves outside the shop are thinking about turning, and the ghosts and skeletons have been creeping up out of the basement. Bring your boos, best friend, or whoever in for a spooky date night this season!

Our lovely historic building is getting a new roof. Today in the studio it’s a tropical vacation with ambient construction sounds (no swamp coolers and hammers). It’s a vibe! However, if it’s not your preferred vibe come see us tomorrow instead of today.

It’s time for more stoneware butter dishes! If you or your friend are in need of somewhere to keep your butter at home come make one of your own. These are super durable stoneware clay, you get to build it, glaze it and customize it to fit your style! Too cute to pass up.

Hey everyone! Fat Cat Pottery is going to be closing this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday so our staff can go adventuring. We will reopen our regular hours on Wednesday from 12-8. Thank you so much! Enjoy the holiday weekend.
